There's been an effort to turn the urban legend into a web-novel series. If it is fake, it'd certainly beat out Ichiban no Tempura or Keit-Ai as the most memorable fake anime not related to Dragon Ball Z. A person claiming to be the original 4chan poster later visited the subreddit claiming that they fabricated the story about Saki Sanobashi in a matter of minutes as a joke, but the lack of any definitive means of verifying that they were indeed the original poster means that the OVA's existence is still very much up in the air depending on who you ask. A subreddit dedicated to researching and attempting to find the lost anime was made in 2019, but as the content is no longer taken seriously by its members, another has been made for serious discussion only. According to rumor, the OVA is 30 minutes long and features anywhere from three to nine high school girls trapped in a bathroom with no doors or windows, who eventually all commit suicide in a gruesome manner. Saki Sanobashi, often paired with the subtitle Go For A Punch, is a fictional OVA from the late 1980s or early 1990s.
